Civilization x Savagery

This book is very interesting because of its many symbols. The main theme explored in the book is the conflict between two impulses that exist inside all human being: civilization and savagery.  This conflict is represented by the two main characters: Ralph, the protagonist, who represents order and leadership; and Jack, the antagonist, who represents savagery and the desire for power.

Let's start our trip?

Lord of the Flies is a book which was written by W. Golding. The plot is developed when a group of British boys came in a desert island. There is no adult, there are only children who have to take care each other. At a first sight, we may think that it is just a simply story about people who are lost and will be rescued, such as the movie "Blue Lake". However, when we start to read the book, we may notice that it is not a simply and common story. There are a lot of symbolism and miths throughout the book.
But now you may think: "What can become this book so different and special?" I can't tell you the whole story, otherwise you will not have the pleasure of discovering by yourselves  all of the details of this amazing novel, but I may tell that you will love it!
So, let's start our trip?
